I use the College Adjuster mod by TwoJeff. You can set the current Semester Grade, make the exam happen, and send your Sim to their exam and onto the next Semester etc. Personally, I use it to completely skip over Uni Life because I'm just so sick of it. I'm okay with that being sufficient to just pass the exam, but I want that to be a distinction for my extreme over-achievers, not everyone.
