Here is another image, from Jerry Crandall's outstanding "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Dora," vol. 1. Although a little faded, the painting actually looks quite similar to the F-8 image in some ways. Note especially how the inner rear section of the wing looks to be a darker color than the (obviously bare metal) outer section.
