Speaking of terrifying, Mickey Mouse himself makes an appearance in the movie, with Walt Disney providing the voice. During the party he takes turns mocking and hitting Durante (which is perfectly acceptable), but then introduces a short cartoon called "The Hot Chocolate Soldiers".

When Baron Munchausen comes to town with real man-eating lions, Durante throws him a big Hollywood star-studded party so that he might use the lions in his next movie. But, his film rival sneaks into the party to buy the lions before Durante.
