What I remember pasties should taste like. Absolutely perfect light and flakey crust, right balance of flavors and diced vegetables, including rutabagas. We both scarfed a whole pastie and stashed two frozen pasties. Gram's has a large selection of pasties to suit your taste. I vote Gram's Pasties the best in Michigan.

Gram's Pasties makes it well known that it is "Readers Choice" top-voted pasty. In my original visit (2016), according to the sign out front, that award was given to Gram seven times. As of 2019, that award is up to 10 times.. Of course, it's not mentioned that the award is from Escanaba's Daily Press where the main competition is Dobber's… and that's about it.

We had a nice time at Grams. The pasties came in many different flavors. I got the veggie one and it was pretty good, my friends got the jalapeno beef ones which were apparently spicy and a little.
