What is Sant Jordi's day? St. Jordi is Catalunya's version of Valentine's day and is a one day festival of romance, roses and books all inspired by the legend of Saint George on 23rd April every year. St. Jordi, or San Jorge, has been the co-patron saint of Catalonia province of Spain for over 500 years since 1507.

This year's festival (2023) has revived the literary superblock between Av Diagonal, Gran Via, C/ Balmes and C/ Pau Claris and has presented two new features: a reclaimed La Rambla and an incorporated Gran de Gràcia, from Jardins de Salvador Espriu to Travessera de Gràcia.
