Today I hiked to Debbie's View with 4 hiking friends via the Margaret's Way trailhead off Hwy 900. The parking area was 1/2 full when we hit the trail at 9:10. The Porta Potties had just been serviced and were stocked with supplies. It was 42 degrees with overcast skies. The new entrance to Margaret's Way trail was a great improvement going around huge moss and fern covered boulders over.

Central Peak, West Peak, and Debbie's View Loop. Enjoy this 6.0-mile loop trail near Issaquah, Washington. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 23 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

This moderate hike will take us up a forested hillside to, weather permitting, a nice view of Mount Rainier. Short breaks will be taken as needed, with a longer one at Debbie's View. Expect a pace of 1.5 to 2 mph. It's 6.8 miles round trip and 1,614 feet of elevation gain.

Debbies View has on of the best views on Squak (there are at most 4) and is a common turn around point for most hikers. Back tracking to the junction with the Chybinski Loop trail. Taking the Chybinski Loop trail down to Bullit Fireplace travels along one of the newer trails on Squak and was several years in the making that the groups above.

The idea was to seek out a shady trail to avoid the sun and take heed of today's heat advisory. Margaret's Way trail was the perfect choice. High of 90 degrees, but it was only high 70s during my run.

Debbie's View, a delightful lookout point with views of Mount Rainier and the surrounding foothills makes for a great rest/turn-around spot. Where Margaret's Way ends, turn right on Chybinski, then another immediate right on Perimeter Loop, and watch for a sign to Debbie's View. The side trip to Debbies' View adds 0.7 miles.

Mount Rainier from Debbie's View. Today was a lovely day for a hike! The trail was mostly in good shape, with a few muddy spots, a couple smaller downed trees and some patches with slippery leaves. Given the amount of rain we've had and the windstorm it wasn't bad at all. We hiked all the way to Debbie's View and actually met Debbie!

The trail starts in the old Issaquah Highlands Recreational Club—a sprawling RV park and campground on the west slope of Squak Mountain. The club closed and was sold to a logging company in 2012.

Debbie's View from Margaret's Way is a 7 mile less popular intermediate route located near Issaquah Washington. This hike only route and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 1,570 ft with a max elevation of 1,791 ft then descends -1,566 ft.

From here it's a short jaunt down the trail to Debbie's View which showcases Mt. Rainier rising above May Valley. This trailhead is still very new and as a result it is often much less crowded than other nearby trailheads around Cougar and Squak, making it a great choice for an off-season ramble. The area is still under development and.

The trail is clearly marked and well-maintained. The view at Debbie's View was slightly underwhelming, but the heavily wooded trail with looming trees makes up for it. Challenging hike with good elevation both ways. You can hear the rat-a-tat-tat of gun fire in the background for most of the hike.
