There are Sauna Master(Bademeister) that come into specific saunas and do a little 'show' of pouring the sauna essence on the stones. The 'show' lasts 8-10 minutes.. We take the train to Bad Homburg, walk for twenty minutes or so to the therme, and find the Japanese-style complex of buildings and grounds and enter. Four hours for the price.
